  1. Subject:     Lost SetKey Bindings in MPW Shell 3.4.1

  7.
  8. Has anybody witnessed this problem:
  9.
  10. All SetKey bindings are reset to their defaults by the beginning of a
  11. "called" (not "Execute" -ed) script.
  12.
  13. E.g., with user-defined SetKey bindings in effect, executing a script
  14. file, say "Test," containing the single command "SetKey" by issuing the
  15. command "Test" will report _default_ SetKey bindings, which will still
  16. be in effect when control returns to the worksheet. If the script is
  17. invoked with "Execute Test," then the proper output results, and the
  18. top-level bindings are also unaffected.
  19.
  20. I have more than a few of bindings (140 bindings, ~7 Kbytes of label +
  21. script), so perhaps that is part of the problem, but 3.4 and earlier
  22. MPWs (of those supporting SetKey) never exhibited this problem.
